Sansa to Arya: “I hate riding.”
Sansa to Joffrey (five pages later): “Oh, I love riding.”
I laughed so hard when I read this. This is when I totally fell in love with Sansa because she is SUCH a teenage girl. I’ve done this before! “Ugh, I hate this” finds out a boy I’m crushing on likes said thing, “OH! I love that, too!”
I see people all the time say how they hated Sansa at first and I’m not saying that I’m better than them (because people experience things differently, yo), but I’ve always thought she was so amazing and I related to her immediately. Because even though I was more like Arya outwardly growing up, Sansa’s characterization was spot on for me internally. I was visibly a tomboy, but I was such a romantic.
